We are inundated with a range of technological devices and understand how these can connect to a world of huge possibilities. However, we also acknowledge that children, through their innocence, may encounter and become involved in dangers whilst online. Below are a range of guidelines, resources and advice about how to keep your child safe.

If you have any online concerns, please contact the school.

*FaceCast App*

This App has led to many child protection services working together to safeguard children who are using it, due to the concern that the app is being used as a platform for child sexual exploitation. The ‘Face Cast’ app- although designed for those over 18- allows children who state they are 13+ to access it and use live video mode, chat to strangers and earn in app coins. The reviews for this app are damning and it is clear that the app is being used to exploit children. Please can you ensure that your child’s phone is regularly checked and, if this app is found, please remove it.
