On Saturday 6th May, nine staff from our school team, along with 3 friends, will be taking part in the “Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge”.
The challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and the total route is 24 miles long and should be completed within 12 hours!
We are taking on this extreme challenge, in order to raise additional funds for our wonderful children and young people at school, as we would like to offer them further opportunities and experiences.
We are really excited about the challenge, but also very nervous, and have been training for months to try and prepare us for what is in store on that day! We are all determined to complete the challenge, and will update you on our progress after the event!
We have already been lucky enough to receive some sponsors, and it is this kind generosity that is spurring us on ready for next weekend! If you, or your family and friends can spare a donation, our staff and pupils would be extremely grateful! We have attached a sponsorship form and a donation envelope.
We also have a Just Giving page where you can donate online, the web address is:
We will put a link to this address on our school website.
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement, and please wish us luck!
